Configure an existing database environment to work with the Managing Server on Windows
You can customize the DB2 or Oracle environment before you begin installing the Managing Server. Perform these steps only if you are using an existing DB2 or Oracle environment with your Managing Server; otherwise, go directly to one of the installation chapters.
Refer to one or more of the following sections:
- For an existing local or remote DB2 environment, see Prepare an existing DB2 environment.
- For an existing local Oracle environment, see Prepare an existing local Oracle environment.
- For an existing remote Oracle environment, see Prepare an existing remote Oracle environment.
The existing DB2 or Oracle environment can exist on the Managing Server or a remote computer.
