ve.properties
The following properties are listed in the ve.properties file which is the properties file for the ITCAM for Application Diagnostics Managing Server:
- kernel.codebase
- The value of this property is filled in during installation time by the installer. It specifies where the Managing Server code base can be found.
- kernel.rfs.address
- The value of this property is filled in during installation time by the installer. This is used by the ITCAM for Application Diagnostics Managing Server to locate the Managing Server components.
- com.cyanea.ve.report.sql.MAX_ROW_COUNT
- The default value is 1000. Specifying too high a value might cause the ITCAM for Application Diagnostics Managing Server to run out of memory when running the reports. This specifies the maximum number of rows that should be retrieved from the database when displaying the detail reports (request, method, SQL) in the Performance Analysis and Reporting (PAR) component.
- db2.selectivity
- Default no. If you know there will be a concentration of records generated during a particular time frame, you can change the value to yes. The effect will be that response times for generating reports for the Performance Analysis Report will be quicker than if not enabled. If you change this value, restart the WAS being used by the Managing Server.
- tep.hostname
- This is the host name of the Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server.
- tep.port
- Default 1920. This is the port number for the Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server.
- tep.baseurl
- Default ///cnp/kdh/lib/cnp.html. This is the URL for the IBM Tivoli Enterprise Portal.
- tep.userid
- This is the user ID for logging into the IBM Tivoli Enterprise Portal.
