Existing database environment: creating the schema user
During a custom installation using an existing database environment, you are asked to enter the name for the schema user. This user will own and can create the database tables for ITCAM for Application Diagnostics.
Perform the procedure to create a schema user:
- Log in as Administrator.
- Depending on your operating system, choose one of the following options:
Navigation for creating the schema user
Windows XP Start > Control Panel > User Accounts Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Local Users and Groups > Users
- Create the schema user.
- This user must have sufficient permissions to own and create database tables.
