Reference: Generated API and SPI documentation

This documentation provides the details of the API and system programming interfaces (SPIs) that are supported by IBM BPM Version 7.5 and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus Version 7.5.

The table of contents for the API and SPI documentation presents a package list that is organized by package name, such as com.ibm.websphere.sca.

Alternatively, you can use the search to find a package or class by its name, such as com.ibm.websphere.sca or ServiceManager.

If you want to use the WebSphere MQ classes to create custom MQ data bindings, see the IBM Integration Designer topic Example of custom MQ data bindings. JMS and MQ data bindings details are described in the IBM Integration Designer topic JMS, MQ JMS and generic JMS data bindings.

If you want to create a user-defined JMS data binding, see JMS data bindings.

If you want to use WSRR classes, see the API Reference in the WebSphere Service Registry and Repository Information Center.

For information about programming with the business object programming model, see Work with business objects. Business object instances are represented by the commonj.sdo.DataObject interface. The business object programming model behavior is based on the Service Data Object 2.1 specification. For additional information, see the SDO 2.1 for Java specification, tutorials and javadocs on the web: http://osoa.org/display/Main/Service+Data+Objects+Specifications.

To open the information center table of contents to the location of this reference information, click the Show in Table of Contents button (

) on your information center border.

The API documentation is displayed in the topic pane of the information center. To view the API documentation, double-click the information center border located above the topic pane. This expands the topic pane, while hiding the navigation pane (the area containing the table of contents or search results list). Double-click the information center border again to restore the navigation pane.

For reference information about the supported APIs for WebSphere Application Server, see the Reference section of the WebSphere Application Server information center.
