Disable event distribution for CEI
The event server, which manages events, can be configured to distribute events or log them to the event database. Some mediations only require events to be logged to a database; for these cases, performance is improved by disabling event distribution.
Because the event server can be used by other applications, it is important to check that none of them use event monitoring, which requires event distribution before disabling this.
To disable event distribution for Common Event Infrastructure (CEI), open the administrative console, navigate to Resources > Common Event Infrastructure > set scope to Cell > Event Server Profile, and clear the EnableEventDistribution check box.
