Commands (wsadmin scripting) for configuring the Business Space component for Process Portal

Look up a scripting object or command class to find details about its command syntax.

The wsadmin tool is located under <WAS_INSTALL_DIR>/bin and <WAS_PROFILE_DIR>/bin. Use one of the following commands to launch it:

• For Jython:
  • wsadmin -lang jython
  • 

    ./wsadmin.sh -lang jython

• For Jacl:
  • wsadmin
  • 

    ./wsadmin.sh

For most of the Business Space commands, it is recommended that you run the wsadmin tool in disconnected mode (that is, with the server stopped). To do this, use the -conntype NONE parameter:

• For Jython:
  • wsadmin -lang jython -conntype NONE
  • 

    ./wsadmin.sh -lang jython -conntype NONE

• For Jacl:
  • wsadmin -conntype NONE
  • 

    ./wsadmin.sh -conntype NONE

• addICMSystem command
  Use the addICMSystem command to add the endpoints for IBM Case Manager services to the endpoint registry file for IBM BPM. This enables the federated REST API on the IBM BPM Advanced server to connect to the IBM Case Manager server.
• configureBusinessSpace command
  Use the configureBusinessSpace command to configure the Business Space database.
• configureLotusWebformServer command
  Use the configureLotusWebformServer command to configure Business Space to use IBM Forms Server and the Webform Server component. IBM Forms Server works with Human Task Management widgets.
• createBPMApiFederationDomain command
  Use the createBPMApiFederationDomain command to configure the federation domains in an environment with multiple deployment targets so that you can display processes and tasks created in Process Designer and Integration Designer in the same task list.
• deleteBPMApiFederationDomain command
  Use the deleteBPMApiFederationDomain command to delete a federation domain including the contained targets.
• getBusinessSpaceDeployStatus command
  Use the getBusinessSpaceDeployStatus command to check whether the Business Space component is configured on a particular deployment target.
• installBusinessSpace command
  Use the installBusinessSpace command to set up the Business Space component on your IBM BPM environment.
• installBusinessSpaceWidgets command
  Use the installBusinessSpaceWidgets command to install, deploy and register widgets for use with the Business Space component.
• installHumanTaskManagementWidgets command
  Use the installHumanTaskManagementWidgets command to install the human task management widgets application on an IBM BPM Standard or IBM BPM Advanced server or cluster.
• listBPMApiFederationDomains command
  Use the listBPMApiFederationDomains command to list all federation domains for your environment.

  Use the modifyBPMApiFederationDomain command to add or remove targets from a federation domain using the addTarget and deleteTarget steps.
• registerRESTServiceEndpoint command
  Use the registerRESTServiceEndpoint command to register configured and enabled Representational State Transfer (REST) endpoints so that your team can use IBM BPM widgets.
• removeICMSystem command
  Use the removeICMSystem command to remove the endpoints for IBM Case Manager services from the endpoint registry file for IBM BPM.
• showBPMApiFederationDomain command
  Use the showBPMApiFederationDomain command to display details about a federation domain.
• uninstallBusinessSpaceWidgets command
  Use the uninstallBusinessSpaceWidgets command to remove widgets and widget definitions from the profile, including removing individual widget assets (application, catalog, endpoints, spaces, templates, help).
• updateBusinessSpaceWidgets command
  Use the updateBusinessSpaceWidgets command to update previously configured widgets and their endpoints, catalogs, templates, and help plugins.
• updateRESTGatewayService command
  Use the updateRESTGatewayService command to update a Representational State Transfer (REST) gateway service so that REST services are configured and enabled.
• Update templates and spaces after installing or updating widgets
  Manual steps are required for updating templates and spaces after running the installBusinessSpaceWidgets or updateBusinessSpaceWidgets commands in a clustered environment.
