Create or augment custom profiles
As part of the ND configuration, create or augment at least one custom profile. A custom profile contains an empty node that you must federate into a dmgr cell to make operational. Federating the custom profile changes it into a managed node.

If you have existing WebSphere Application Server V8.0 custom profiles, you can augment an existing profile using PMT to add support for IBM BPM.
