Setting the correct schema name for the messaging engines
To ensure that the service integration bus (SIB) messaging engines can access the appropriate DB2 for z/OS tables, the correct schema name must be set for the messaging engines. You can use the administrative console to change the schema names.
Start the server.
Procedure
- Log in to the administrative console.
- Navigate to Service Integration > Buses.
- For each messaging engine:
- Select Messaging engines, and then click the name that is displayed.
- Click Message store.
- Change the value of Schema name to the name used when creating the DB2 for z/OS tables for this messaging engine.
- Click Apply.
- Save your configuration changes.
- Verify that the messaging engines can be started:
- Log out of the administrative console.
- Stop, and then restart the server.
- Look in the output of the server log for successful SIB messaging engine startup messages.
For example:
BBOO0222I: "BusName" CWSID0016I: Messaging engine MessagingEngineName is in state Started.
