Configure the Inbox widget
Use the Inbox configuration to specify the content that users of the widget see, the views and actions that are available, how the content and priority are displayed, and the refresh behavior of the widget.
You must be the page owner or an editor of the page to configure this widget.To include lists of work items in the widget, your system environment must be configured so that IBM Case Manager can be accessed from a Process Portal space.
To configure this widget, open the widget menu and select Edit Settings. If the edit option is not available, you are not authorized to configure the widget. The following configuration options are available. If you are using Process Portal on an iPad, you might not be able to perform all of the configuration actions.
- Content: allows you to configure which lists and properties are made available to the users of this widget.
- User Interaction: allows you to configure the views and actions that are available to the users of this widget.
- Display: allows you to configure how the content of the widget is displayed and refreshed.
- Configure the content of the Inbox widget
You can configure the Inbox widget so that it shows the lists of tasks and work items that are relevant to the users of this widget. For each of these lists, you can specify the properties that are shown as columns in the widget.
- Configure the available views and actions for the Inbox widget
You can configure the Inbox widget so that the users who work with the widget see only those views and actions that are valid for the work that they do.
For example, you can configure the widget so that a user can see all their assigned work.
- Configure how content is displayed and refreshed in the Inbox widget
You can configure the Inbox widget to display the content as a table or a list. You can also configure the sort order for priorities and how the priority is displayed, and how the content of the widget is refreshed.
