Module Assembly
The Module Assembly widget visually represents the services exposed and invoked by a module. Use it to see details about a module, including its status and any configuration problems or failed events it has.
The Module Assembly widget interacts with the Module Browser and Module Administration widgets.
You can perform the following actions in this widget:
- View a graphical representation (diagram) of the module services and the connections to other service modules. If the module is versioned, the widget includes version and unique cell identifier information for the module.
- Change the size of the diagram by using the zoom slider bar on the left side of the widget.
- Click an item in the diagram for additional details. The widget displays the information in a new window; click OK to close the window and return to the diagram.
- Click a Service Component Architecture service in the diagram to see its details. The Module Assembly widget refreshes to display the diagram for the module you selected.
- Determine whether there are failed events in the module. The widget lists the total failed event count underneath the module diagram.
- Gather the status for the module and its service exports and service imports. The widget uses the icons in Table 1 to indicate the status of the module and its services. In addition, problematic bindings (like bindings to modules that are not deployed) are indicated by a thin line. If a referenced module is stopped or unavailable, its icon is disabled in the diagram.
