Configure Module Browser

Configure the Module Browser widget to display the modules and artifacts you want to work with.


Configure the list of modules shown in the widget

To customize the widget to show all modules or a specific subset of modules...in the Module Browser widget.

  1. Click Edit Settings from the widget menu.
  2. Do one of the following:

    • To display all modules in the cell, select Show all modules.

    • To display specific modules, select Show selected modules, and click Add. In the Select Modules to Add window, select the names of modules that you want to show, and click Add.

      In the Search modules text box, you can type the first few letters of the name of a module, and the list of modules in the window is refreshed with only the modules that begin with those letters.

  3. If you want to delete modules from the list of modules that are displayed, click the delete icon to the right of those module names.

  4. Click Save to save your changes.


Specifying URLs for Business Process Choreographer Explorer and the business process rules manager

If you have configured the business process rules manager to use a URL other than the default (http:// hostName: port/br), update Module Browser with the correct URL before you view or edit artifacts.

Module Browser retrieves the link to Business Process Choreographer Explorer from the value provided in the Business Process Choreographer Containers page of the administrative console. If you want to override this value (by default, http:// hostName: port/bpc), specify the new URL as part of Module Browser configuration.

  1. Click Edit Settings from the widget menu.

  2. Enter the new URL for Business Process Choreographer Explorer in the Business Process Choreographer Explorer URL field.

    Important: If you have configured multiple Business Process Choreographer containers, leave this field empty. Instead, specify the URL on the Business Process Choreographer Containers page in the administrative console (Servers > Server Types > WebSphere application servers > server_name > Business Process Choreographer > Business Process Choreographer Containers or Servers > Clusters > WebSphere application server clusters > cluster_name > Business Process Choreographer > Business Process Choreographer Containers).

  3. Enter the new URL for the business process rules manager in the Business Rules Manager URL field.

  4. Click Save to save your changes.
