A queue security role is used to secure a uniform distributed queue resource deployed within a security realm. For more information, see Securing WebLogic Resources.
Note: BEA recommends using initial capitalization, singular names for global roles; for example,
SecurityEng.
To define a uniform distributed queue security role:
- In the Administration Console, navigate to the uniform distributed queue resource that you want to configure:
- Click Security: Roles to open the JMS Queue Roles page.
- Click New.
- In Name, specify a name for your new Role.
- Click Ok.
- To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).After you finish
