The WebLogic file T3 service lets you provide high-speed, client-side access to native operating system files on the server.
To clone a file system:
- If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
- In the left pane, expand Services and select File T3.
A table listing the file T3 services that have been created appears.
- Select the checkbox next to the file T3 service that you want to clone.
- Click Clone.
A dialog displays asking for the name of your new file resource.
- Enter the name of your file system in the Name field.
- Click OK.
The new instance is added in the File (T3) Services table.
- In the File (T3) Services table, click the Name of the file system to which you want to assign a system path name.
- Enter or modify the value in the Path attribute field.
- Click Save.
- Use the Targets page to select servers or clusters on which to deploy your file services. See Target file T3 services.
- Use the Notes page to enter notes related to the file service.
- Click Save.
- To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).After you finish
