Before you begin
You can enable or disable all the metrics in a diagnostic system module, or you can enable or disable individual metrics.
To enable or disable metric collection in a diagnostic system module:

- If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
- In the left pane, expand Diagnostics and select Diagnostic Modules.
- On the Summary of Diagnostic Modules page, click the name of the module for which you want to configure metric collection.
- On the Settings for [Module Name] page, select Configuration > Collected Metrics:
- To enable all metric collection for this module, go to step 5.
- To enable or disable individual metrics, go to step 6.
- To enable or disable all metric collection for this module, select or deselect Enabled and click Save.
- If metrics collection for the module is enabled, you can enable or disable individual metric collection:
- Under Collected Metrics in this Module, click the name of a metric.
- On the Settings for [Metric] page, select Configuration > General. Select or deselect Enable Metric to enable or disable the metric.
- Click Save.
- To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
