Error connecting to license server

The computer could not connect to the license server.


Fixes

  1. Verify the Rational License Key Administrator has been configured to point to the correct license server.

  2. Verify port on which the license server is listening matches the Port ID value. By default, the Port ID on the license server is 27000.

  3. This error can occur if you install a version of Rational License Server on the same computer other than the one bundled with Rational Performance Tester.

  4. For products that require a different version of RLS, to adjust the server configuration, execute the license administration program...

      C:\Program Files\Rational\Common\licadmin.exe

    ...and then click...

      Settings | Client/Server Configuration | Use License Server

    For a locally installed license server, type localhost for the Server Name.
