Uninstall the digital experience software

Uninstall the digital experience software is a multiple step process and the method we use is dependent upon the configuration. Removing WebSphere Portal in a single-server configuration is different from removing WebSphere Portal from a cluster. Manual uninstallation instructions are provided for a single-server configuration in case of an error situation.

Get the software

Install the prerequisite software

1. AIX: Uninstalling WebSphere Portal
   Use the Installation Manager to uninstall IBM WebSphere Portal binary files.

2. HP: Uninstalling WebSphere Portal
   Use the Installation Manager to uninstall IBM WebSphere Portal binary files.

3. IBM i: Uninstalling WebSphere Portal
   Use the Installation Manager to uninstall IBM WebSphere Portal binary files.

4. Linux: Uninstalling WebSphere Portal
   Use the Installation Manager to uninstall IBM WebSphere Portal binary files.

5. Solaris: Uninstalling WebSphere Portal
   Use the Installation Manager to uninstall IBM WebSphere Portal binary files.

6. Windows: Uninstalling WebSphere Portal
   Use the Installation Manager to uninstall IBM WebSphere Portal binary files.
