Test installations of CTC

Perform maintenance installations for CTC in a development environment first and test them. After testing, we can complete deployment using standard portal and content deployment practices and standard application deployment practices for the Content Template Catalog application.

If we attempt to use a site based on Content Template Catalog assets on a server that does not have Content Template Catalog installed, we cannot instantiate CTC templates or portlets, and the rendering of many components throughout the templates fails due to missing plug-ins.
