Content Template Catalog Presentation Templates
These presentation templates are used with each Content Template Catalog content type.
Copy presentation templates to our own design library before modifying them. We can then either put a mapping to these presentation templates into the sites to override the mappings on the authoring templates or we can copy the authoring template and then modify the mapping directly.
The presentation of content types like News, Events, and Communications is simple and consists of styled containers wrapped around the content fields. There is a template for each content type, mapped directly onto each authoring template.
The templates reuse much formatting code using a set of components in the “Field Designs" folder. Each field design is an HTML fragment responsible for rendering a particular field or group of related fields.
The markup structure of each presentation template has an overall container with three sub-containers – header, body, and footer. The header typically contains the titles, subtitles and bylines, the body a summary and body, and the footer has tags.
