Deleting the repository on AIX

If you have made changes to the company and no longer require the use of a repository within the default federated repository, we can delete the repository from the configuration.

In a clustered environment, start the dmgr and nodeagent and verify they are able to synchronize.

Delete a repository default federated repository

  1. ./ConfigEngine.sh wp-query-repository -DWasPassword=foo task, from WP_PROFILE/ConfigEngine, to list the names and types of configured repositories.

  2. Edit wkplc.properties

  3. Enter the following parameters in wkplc.properties under VMM Delete federated repository properties:

  4. Save changes to wkplc.properties.

  5. Delete a federated repository...

      ./ConfigEngine.sh wp-delete-repository -DWasPassword=foo

  6. Stop and restart servers, dmgrs, and node agents.

If the deleted repository contained the base entry where new users and groups are stored, run wp-update-entitytypes to select a new base entry to store the new users and groups.

If you created the clustered environment, including the additional nodes, and then completed the steps in this task, run update-jcr-admin on the secondary nodes.
