Solaris clustered server: Set up Oracle manually

As an alternative to automatically setting up the database, you can manually configure the Oracle database to create users and grant privileges. If you have configured database automatically by running the ConfigEngine task, you should not manually create users, privileges, or table spaces. You may decide to perform additional manual configuration for items that are not provided to you when you automatically when you run the ConfigEngine task. For example, assigning custom table spaces is an optional task that is not covered by the automated ConfigEngine task. To learn more about automatically configuring Oracle, refer to the Configuring Oracle automatically section in the information center.
