Learn about the template libraries used by blogs and blog libraries
Blogs and blog libraries use the template libraries provided by IBMLotus Web Content Management. Blogs use the blog resources and blog solo templates. Blog libraries use the blog resources and blog templates. The page hierarchy that is provided for these components is the common one defined by the Web Content Management template libraries. The templates described in this topic only work with the theme customizer used in the default theme. Changes to these templates will affect all blogs and blog libraries on the site. It is not recommended to make changes to manual copies of these templates.
Blog resources template
The blog resources template provides the authoring and presentation templates for blogs and blog libraries. All blogs and blog libraries on the site use this single blog resource template. Page Builder in the default theme also points to the blog resources template. The blog resources template has common components that are shared with the wiki resources template.
Blog solo template
When you add a blog to a page, a copy of the blog solo template is created using the name that you provided when adding a blog to a page. This copy of the blog template is used to store posts and comments.
