Delete a profile on AIX
If business needs change, you can delete a profile from the profiles that you created.
To delete a profile:
- Stop all server instances in the profile that you plan to delete.
- Run the ./manageprofiles.sh -delete -profileName profilename task from the WAS_HOME/bin directory, where profilename is the name of the profile that you are deleting.
Delete a profile will take several minutes to complete.
- Delete the profile's directory as it will contain files that the manageprofiles command cannot delete, such as extraneous log files.
