Add composite application pages and portlets to a base installation
If you install the product using the Base option, the composite applications features, including the Application Template Library and Applications catalog, are not installed. However, you can add these features manually after installation by deploying the composite application page hierarchy.
To view, create, and work with composite applications, click Applications in the portal banner and then click the Templates tab.
- Ensure that WebSphere Portal is up and running.
- Open a command prompt in the WP_PROFILE/ConfigEngine.
- Deploy the pages that contain the composite application portlets.
Run the following command:
- UNIX™: ./ConfigEngine.sh action-admin-add-composite-app-pages -DPortalAdminPwd=foo -DWasPassword=foo
- i: ConfigEngine.sh action-admin-add-composite-app-pages -DPortalAdminPwd=foo -DWasPassword=foo
