Create Web content libraries

You create Web Content libraries in the WebSphere Portal administration portlet.

You must be an administrator to create Web content libraries.

  1. Click Administration to open the administration portlet.

  2. Go to Portal Content and then Web Content Libraries.

  3. Click Create new library.

  4. Enter a name and description.

  5. Select a language for the library. This can only be set on creation.

    You cannot change the language of a library once the library has been created.

    If a language does not exist in the list of languages available when creating a library, you can add that language to the list of supported WebSphere Portal languages. See Language Support in the WebSphere Portal information center for further information.

  6. To prevent the library from being deleted, select Prohibit library from being deleted.

  7. Click OK.
