Configure the HTTP Basic Authentication Trust Association Interceptor

To configure the HTTP Basic Authentication Trust Association Interceptor according to your requirements, you set its properties.


WAS v6.1

  1. Click...

      Security | Secure administration, applications, and infrastructure | Authentication | Web security | Trust association

  2. Verify the Enable trust association check box is checked.

  3. Click OK and then click Save if you checked the Enable trust association check box.

  4. Click...

      Web security | Trust association | Interceptors | com.ibm.portal.auth.tai.HTTPBasicAuthTAI

  5. Click Custom properties.

  6. Click the property you that want to change.

  7. Change the value for the property according to your requirements.

  8. Click OK.

  9. Select other properties and change their values as required.

  10. Click OK.

  11. Save changes.

  12. Restart the WAS.


WAS v7.0

  1. Click...

  2. Verify the Enable trust association check box is checked.

  3. Click OK and then click Save if you checked the Enable trust association check box.

  4. Click...

      Web and SIP security | Trust association | Interceptors | com.ibm.portal.auth.tai.HTTPBasicAuthTAI | Custom properties

  5. Click the property you that want to change.

  6. Change the value for the property according to your requirements.

  7. Click OK.

  8. Select other properties and change their values as required.

  9. Click OK.

  10. Save changes.

  11. Restart the WAS.
