Uninstalling from a cluster on i5/OS

You can uninstall WebSphere Portal only or both WebSphere Portal and IBM WAS using either the graphical user interface, console mode, or silent uninstallation program.

1. Prepare to uninstall on i5/OS

   Before uninstalling the cluster, prepare your system; for example, adding passwords to the properties files and keeping or discarding database information.

2. Uninstalling on i5/OS

   If you have a complete and functional uninstallation program, you can uninstall WebSphere Portal only or both WebSphere Portal and IBM WAS from the cluster.
