Integrate with WebSphere Process Server
WebSphere Portal uses WebSphere Process Server to integrate business process applications into the pages of the portal. The applications are developed with WebSphere Integration Developer and controlled by WebSphere Process Server.
Prerequisites
- Technotes for WebSphere Process Server
After you set up business process integration, log in to WebSphere Portal and click Process Integration to display the My Processes and My Tasks pages. These portlets pages allow you to view and manage elements of business process applications directly in the portal environment:
- process templates
- process instances
- task templates
- task instances
WebSphere Portal provides task pages, which allow you to define custom portal pages for rendering individual human tasks contained in a business process application. Specific task pages are dynamically instantiated when users navigate to their tasks using the Task List portlet.
