Work with the Mashup Center catalog
After you configured Mashup Center to work with the portal, users can perform different tasks. Users can perform the following tasks, depending on the configuration that you selected:
- Widget related operations:
- Deploy a widget: This deploys the binaries of a widget on top of the portal, but does not add an according entry to the toolbox.
- Adding a widget: This adds a previously deployed widget to the toolbox
- Deploy and adding a widget: This deploys the binaries of a widget on top of the portal and adds the related entry to the toolbox at the same time.
- Page related operations:
- Adding a page to the portal.
Adding a page URL to portal is not supported.
- Space related operations:
- Add a space to the portal.
This adds the template to the portal, but does not instantiate a new space from it. Create the space from the template by using the space manager.
