Learn about the template libraries used by wikis

Wikis use the template libraries provided by IBM Lotus Web Content Management. Wikis use the wiki resources and wiki templates.

The page hierarchy that is provided for wikis is the common one defined by the Web Content Management template libraries.

The templates described in this topic only work with the theme customizer used in the default theme. Changes to these templates will affect all wikis on the site. It is not recommended to make changes to manual copies of these templates.

Wiki resources template

The wiki resources template provides the authoring and presentation templates for wikis. All wikis on the site use this single wiki resource template. Page Builder in the default theme also points to the wiki resources template.

The blog resources template has common components that are shared with the wiki resources template.

Wiki template

When you add a wiki to a page, a copy of the wiki template is created using the name that you provided when adding the wiki to a page. This copy of the wiki template is used to store wiki page content.
