Deleting a policy

Delete a policy to permanently remove the policy and all of its child policies.

You can delete a policy using the menu of a child policy.

To delete a policy...

1. From the menu of a child policy, click Delete Policy.

2. Click OK to delete the policy and its children; otherwise, click Cancel.

If you wish to restore the policy, you can import the policy definition if it still exists. Or, you can recreate the policy by clicking New Policy in the Policy Types view of the Resource Policies portlet.
