Opening the builder call editor in a separate window

You can have the builder call editor open in a separate window from your IBM® WebSphere Portlet Factory Designer window. Usually, the builder call editor runs in the Editor area of the WebSphere Portlet Factory perspective as a tabbed panel. You can use a preference to change this behavior. The separate window provides more room to work and displays text in larger font sizes.

1. In the WebSphere Portlet Factory perspective, click Window > Preferences.

2. In the Preferences window, click Websphere Portlet Factory Designer.

3. In Builder Call Editor, set Dialog Windows and click OK.

The next time that you start the Workbench and add a builder to your model, the builder call editor opens in a separate window.
