Inserted Page builder inputs

This topic describes the inputs for the Inserted Page builder.

Input name Description
Name Name for this builder call. The WebSphere Portlet Factory Designer displays this name in the builder call list.
Page Location

Location Technique Select one of the following options.

On named tag

Lets you specify the page or all pages and the appropriate HTML tag.

Relative to named tag

Lets you specify the page or all pages, the appropriate HTML tag, and determine the relative position for a new tag. This option makes the Placement and New Tag Name inputs available.

Advanced

Displays a text area in which you can enter the HTML code for the inserted page.
Page Select from the pull-down list AllPages (for every page in the model) or a page name on which the insert page is to be placed.

This input is available if the Location Technique input has something other than Advanced selected.

Tag Select the HTML tag on the page at which the inserted page is to be placed.

This input is available if the Location Technique input has something other than Advanced selected.

Placement

This input is available if the Location Technique input has Relative to named tag selected.

Select one of the options in the dropdown list to specify the relative position for a new tag.

New Tag Name This input is available if the Location Technique input has Relative to named tag selected.

Enter a unique name for the HTML tag to describe the placement of the inserted page.

After Page Location
Page in Model Enter or select the name of the page (an Imported Page builder or Create Page builder) to be inserted in the model.
Inserted content behavior Select the scope of the insert operation from one of the following options.

Append to existing contents

Content is added as a child element of the target.

Replace existing contents

Content replaces the target element entirely.
