This topic describes the Date / Time Formatter builder inputs.

Input name Description
Name Name for this builder call. The WebSphere Portlet Factory Designer displays this name in the builder call list.
Date Format Select how the Date values for the specified fields are displayed.
If you select a specific format, the builder call editor displays a Sample Date value in that format.
Selecting Server Default prompts the Date / Time Formatter to use the default date format as defined on the machine on which the application server runs.
Time Format Select how the time values for the specified fields are displayed.
If you select a specific format, the builder call editor displays a Sample Time value in that format.

DateTime Format Select how the date-time values for the specified fields are displayed.
If you select a specific format, the builder call editor displays a Sample DateTime value in that format.

Fields Each Data Page builder call adds a form structure to the model from which you can specify one or more fields.
Select the form elements whose fields are formatted according to the Date/Time formats you specify in this builder call.
Requested Parsers Handle dates, times and date-time values in nonstandard formats.
The requested parsers available can be used to parse nonstandard formats into the formats specified under Date Format, Time Format and Date Time Format.
You can specify multiple requested parsers, and the parsers that you specify are used in the order that they are entered in the requested parser table.
Note: The builder uses requested parsers specified in the table before it attempts to use any of the standard parsers specified in Date, Time, and DateTime inputs.
