Collapsible Section builder inputs

This topic describes the inputs for the Collapsible Section builder.

Input Name Description
Name Name for this builder call. The WebSphere Portlet Factory Designer displays this name in the builder call list.
Trigger Location The page location of the trigger area. Clicking the region, typically a piece of text, alternately shows or hides the additional information section.
Expand/Collapse Section Location This page location indicates the additional information section that is expanded or collapsed when the trigger text or icon is clicked.
Expanded Image Relative path to the image to be shown when the section is being displayed.
Expanded Alternate Text Text that is displayed if the image is not available or the mouse hovers over the element.

Note: If the Refresh Page input is set to client-only, the alternate text for this control does not refresh.
Collapsed Image Relative path to the image to be shown when the section is being hidden.
Collapsed Alternate Text Text that is displayed if the image is not available or the mouse hovers over the element.
Note: If the Refresh Page input is set to client-only, the alternate text for this control does not refresh.
Refresh Page Indicates how to update the page when the trigger is clicked.

client-only

Shows or hides information section in current page contents and does not reload any page data.

partial-page refresh

Reloads the expanded or collapsed section from the server but does not reload the containing page in the browser.

full-page refresh

Reloads the entire top-level page.
