Ajax Region builder inputs

This topic describes the Ajax Region builder inputs.

Input name Description
Name Name for this builder call. The WebSphere Portlet Factory Designer displays this name in the builder call list.
Refresh Location Specify the area on the page on which this builder call will act.
Use Trigger Region Check this input to specify a region separate from the refresh location in which all actions are rewritten to asynchronously reload the refresh location. If this is unchecked, all actions in the refresh region will be rewritten.
Trigger Location Specifies an area in which all actions will be rewritten to reload the refresh region. This input is displayed only when Use Trigger Region is checked.
Refresh Trigger Region Check this input to add the trigger region to the refresh location. This causes the output in the trigger region to be refreshed each time an action in this region is selected. This is useful if the trigger region contains builders that display status information in addition to building actions, such as the paging buttons builder.
