Adding a IBM WebSphere® Portal WAB to your IBM Lotus Notes 8 installation with the Lotus Notes Composite Application Editor (CAE)

See the Lotus Notes® 8 documentation on the Composite Application Editor for information on creating Lotus Notes composite applications before proceeding. Use the Lotus Notes Composite Application Editor (CAE) to add components (where a component may be a portlet, or Eclipse SWT based component) to its palette either directly from an update site, or as locally installed components, after having installed a WAB to the platform outside of CAE. The Lotus Notes 8 documentation has more information on the various capabilities of the composite application editor.

To add portlet components to the CAE palette by the update site, specify a folder-based URL, or an HTTP-based URL, if you have deployed your update site to an HTTP server or J2EE server by the generated WAR file wrapping the update site.
