The Model XML panel

The Model XML panel in the model editor displays the XML for the model as it is saved on disk.

If you are creating builders, you can use the Model XML panel to examine how indirect references are resolved. Also, you can examine the schemas generated by various builders, such as the Data Page builders and Database builders.
