Customization of profiles
When you manage a profile, you can customize it by manipulating values for entries that you have included in a profile set.
Entry values can be changed in either of the following areas in IBM® WebSphere Portlet Factory Designer:
- Manage Profiles editor
- Profile input dialog

To simplify the display of profile entries in the Profile Data Table, you can choose to display only selected entries.
- Edit a profile entry
You edit the values for profile entries in the Profile Entry Work Area.
- The effects of profiling on a model
After you profile the builder call inputs, you can use the Applied Profiles view to preview the effects of the profiles on the profiled inputs.
- Manage Profiles editor
Working in the Manage Profiles editor, you can quickly inspect a profile to see entry values, their edit state (locked or not), and their place in the inheritance hierarchy.

The profile data table provides an overview of the overall state of a profile.
