Cookie support

The WSRP Consumer stores cookies received from a Producer or from resources served by the WSRP Consumer as a proxy, and forwards the cookies appropriately in subsequent requests to a Producer or other resources. The following list gives an overview of the supported use cases of the WSRP consumer cookie handling.

Cookies that the Consumer receives from the Producer during session context initialization for a remote portlet:

A cookie that the Consumer receives from the Producer during session context initialization for a remote portlet is forwarded to remote portlets of the same Producer or of the same group, depending on the Producer initialization cookie policy. Additionally, the cookie is forwarded to resources served by the WSRP Consumer as a proxy that are addressed from such a remote portlet.

Cookies that the Consumer receives from a remote JSR 286 portlet:

Cookies sent from the client to the WSRP Consumer:

single sign-on domain.
