Public applications

Application managers can use the Members portlet to make a composite application open to all authenticated users.

Composite applications can be open to all authenticated users. These nonrestricted applications are called public applications; they are not exclusive. Application users who manage membership can choose to make an application public when, using the Members portlet, they select the action Give All Users Access as User role for the application. By applying this action, membership managers choose to assign all authenticated users to be Users or any other role that provides non-manager access to the application.
