Mobile tests on the Cloud
NeoLoad relies on on-premise hardware to generate the load. With the Neotys Cloud Platform, NeoLoad can use remote resources with the following benefits:
- Ability to perform high-volume load tests. Additional on-demand resources are available to generate scalable loads.
- Test from different geographies under real world conditions. As distance means signal rerouting and regeneration processes, launching testing campaigns from remote locations is particularly useful to measure the network bandwidth and latency which affect response times and quality.
- Test the entire application delivery chain with third-party operations components (load balancers, firewall, and others). Careful testing processes can help identify accurately if there are bottlenecks in the delivery chain and where.
Using Cloud-based Load Generators is identical to local Generators.
Additional functions allow the machines on which the Load Generators are installed to be rebooted or shut down.
Cloud Load Generators are grouped together in a Cloud session, each Cloud session containing several Load Generators for each geographical zone, a start date and a scheduled end date.
Cloud sessions are grouped by workgroup, each workgroup containing several sessions as well as users contacts (administrators or technical) and the available, reserved and used credits.
