Administer resource environment providers
Overview
Use resource environment providers to configure resource environment references. The resource environment references are special entries in the application component's environment. You bind these entries to administered objects in a target operational environment.
Configure resource environment providers
To configure a new resource environment provider, follow these steps:
- Start the administrative console.
- Expand...
Resources | Resource Environment Providers | New | New- Specify a name for the resource environment provider. You can also specify a description.
- Click Apply.
- You can configure these additional properties for the resource environment provider:
- Referencables
- Resource Env Entries
- Save the configuration.
Modify resource environment providers
To modify a resource environment provider, follow these steps:
- Start the administrative console.
- Expand...
Resources | Resource Environment Providers- Click the name of the provider that you want to modify.
- Make your changes.
- Click OK.
- Save the configuration.
Remove resource environment providers
To remove a resource environment provider, follow these steps:
- Start the administrative console.
- Expand...
Resources | Resource Environment Providers- Select the check box for the name of the provider that you want to remove.
- Click Delete.
- Save the configuration.
