Approving or rejecting a workspace task group (Workspace Task Group Approver)

For task groups requiring approval, an approval task is generated when all tasks in a task group are marked as complete.

To approve or reject a workspace task group:

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.

  2. Select Tasks > View Tasks.

  3. From the View list, select to see a list of active tasks or all tasks.

  4. Select the approval task for the task group you want to approve.

  5. Click Approve or Reject.

If you approve a task group, the data in the task group is committed to the production-ready data, either immediately or at a scheduled time set earlier. If the task group is marked as quick publish, the task group data is also published to the production server.

If you reject a task group and e-mail notification is enabled, the tasks within the task group return to Active state and e-mail notifications are sent to the Workspace Content Contributors.
