Troubleshooting WebSphere Commerce Analyzer: A step fails during initial replication and ETL

If a step fails during the initial replication and ETL, the error displays in the WebSphere Commerce Analyzer Runtime window.

First determine which step failed and details about the error, refer to the log files in the WCA_installdir/log directory.

After you fix the cause of the error, restart the failed step by clicking Start WCA in the WebSphere Commerce Analyzer Runtime window. WebSphere Commerce Analyzer will determine where it failed previously and restart from the failed step.

You may need to reset the WebSphere Commerce Analyzer error status. To reset the error status, click Debug in the WebSphere Commerce Analyzer Runtime window, then click Reset Error State. Any error states are cleared and ETL is set to restart after replication at the beginning of the ETL part of processing.
