Work with merchandising associations

Product Managers find, list, create, and change merchandising associations (such as up-sells or cross-sells).

  • Finding merchandising associations for a catalog entry

If you are making changes to product information, you can check to see if there are any merchandising associations connected to the product before you make any changes which could affect those associations.

  • Create merchandising associations

A merchandising association associates one catalog entry to another. If you are trying to increase store sales, you might want to create a merchandising association to suggest additional, different, or replacement products based on a selected catalog entry.

  • Change merchandising associations

You might want to change a merchandising association if you have surplus inventory on a product and want to offer an incentive for customers to purchase it.

  • Deleting merchandising associations

If you are out of inventory or making changes to a catalog entry, you may need to delete any merchandising associations created for that catalog entry.
