Static content is not displayed properly on store pages on some Windows machines
Problem
When launching a store on Windows , all images, icons, and static files do not display on the store pages. This can occur if you are using IBM HTTP Server, versions 1.3.x or 2.0.x.
Cause
The IBM HTTP Server AFPA (fast cache accelerator) may not work on some Windows machines for the following reasons:

  • Some software products are incompatible with AFPA (for example, Norton AntiVirus with the layered service provider active, or IIS listening on the same port as IBM HTTP Server).

  • AFPA has been known to have problems when Microsoft release updates to their TCP/IP stack.

Disable the AFPA as documented in the following Technote:
