WebSphere Commerce v6 (Windows)

This page describes the minimum product levels that need to be installed before opening a problem report with the WebSphere Commerce support team. Because other products frequently ship fixes, updates, and new releases, testing every configuration is not possible. In general, you can install and run with updates to supported products if those updates are compatible with later versions.

The list below identifies the supported products that work with WebSphere Commerce on a Windows operating system.The supported product can run, but does not need to run, on the same machine where WebSphere Commerce runs.

% Compatibility mode support : WebSphere Commerce v6 does not take advantage of new features or functionality that are released with these new software versions:
- WAS V6.1
- IBM DB2 V9
WebSphere Commerce v6 continues to use these new versions in the same manner as it did with the previous version of WebSphere Application Server and IBM DB2.
If you install and use either of these new software versions you can take advantage of new features or functionality provided it does not impact WebSphere Commerce functionality.
