(troubleshooting)Problem(Abstract) You attempt to publish a WebSphere Commerce store. The publish fails while running the massload utility, and the following error is noted in the SystemErr.log file:

An error occurred while executing the task com.ibm.commerce.tools.devtools.publish.tasks.massload.MassLoaderTaskCmdImpl. Refer to the following message for details and suggested action: The Loader failed to load the data from the input file /tmp/WCS49640/SARS/Stores.war/WEB-INF/stores/ConsumerDirect/data/store-data-assets.resolved.xml to the database. Ensure the data contained in the input file correctly matches the database schema.
The following exception is noted in the SystemOut.log file:
[2/4/08 20:02:17:262 EST] 00000066 CommerceSrvr E com.ibm.wca.MassLoader.MassLoad main Exception Message: Feature 'http://apache.org/xml/features/validation/balance-syntax-trees' is not recognized.Cause The cumulative fix (SR) level of the Java™ SDK that is being used does not include the syntax trees feature. This feature is used when parsing data as part of the massloading step when publishing a store. Resolving the problem The syntax trees feature was included in Java SDK 1.4.2 SR4. To resolve this store publishing problem, upgrade the Java SDK to at least SR4. IBM recommends that the latest SR level is always used, and it can be downloaded from here.
