You can update the connections settings in the IBM Sales
Center client for WebSphere Commerce through the IBM Sales Center client
or by manually updating the configuration file.
To change the settings through the IBM Sales Center client:
1. Open the SC_installdir\startup.bat
in a text editor.
2. Append -clientAdmin to the end of the first line:
"%~dp0rcp\rcplauncher.exe" -product
com.ibm.commerce.telesales.TelesalesWorkbenchProduct -clientAdmin
3. Save your changes.
4. Restart IBM Sales Center.
Option A
1. Click File >
preferences.
2. From the left panel menu expand IBM Sales Center and select
Communication.
3. Update your connection settings.
Option B
1. Click File > Logon.
2. Click the connectivity button.
3. Update your connection settings.
To change the settings manually through the configuration file:
1. To change your settings, open the following file:
C:\Documents and
Settings\Administrator_Windows_logonId\IBM\RCP\long_string_of_numbers\your_Windows_logonId\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.core.runtime\.settings\com.ibm.commerce.telesales.config.prefs
2. Update your connection settings.
