Objective
Receive inventory that is expected, there by making it available for purchase and to backorders.
Description
This is process is used for receiving expected inventory, for which an expected inventory record exists.
An expected inventory receipt will be created at a fulfillment center.
The quantity received and quantity remaining of the corresponding expected inventory record detail will be updated.
If the receipt is created successfully, the receipt identifier will be returned and the receipt will be made available to the distribution arrangement. Distribution Arrangement models the relationship between wholesaler and retailer, where the retailer has an arrangement to sell merchandise from the wholesaler.

Task Description Role Accept goods (external) This is an external task that will accept the goods into inventory.
Receiver Create receipt This task receives expected inventory by creating a receipt for the fulfillment center and making it available to the distribution arrangement for the store. It also will update the corresponding expected inventory with the quantity received.
